Interview Experience โ€“ Siemens | SDE

Batch: 2027 | Branch: CS | Total Rounds: 3 rounds (2 for some others). My rounds involved riddles, OOP, and a resume-based discussion.

Process Snapshot

  • Eligibility / Shortlisting: CGPA 9.0+ (no DSA requirement). Open to all branches. The Online Assessment (OA) included aptitude and quant. Interviews focused on logical riddles, basic OOP, and detailed explanations of resume content.

  • Application Route & Timeline Start: On-campus. The entire interview process (all rounds) was completed in a single day, approximately one week after the Online Assessment.

Conducted in college, this round consisted purely of Maths and Quant Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

HR and Behavioral

  • HR & Behavioral Insights Questions included: 'What are your hobbies?', 'Do you have a proper career plan?', and 'Do you plan to pursue Masters?'

  • Unexpected/Tricky Moments + Handling: An unexpected moment occurred when the second interviewer suggested I should consider applying for embedded companies instead of software companies.
