1st Round - Online Assessment

• MCQ on CS Fundamentals
• 2 DSA Questions - Array (easy), Strings (medium)

📝 Interview Rounds

2nd Round – Technical Interview

Time : 1 Hour + 10 minutes

The first round focused on fundamentals of web development, AI, and some project discussion.

Questions included:

1. React – advantages, components, write a react component
2. What is Node.js?
3. What is npm & npm commands: install, update, init
4. HTTP methods – difference between POST and PUT
5. Recent trends in AI / OpenAI (GPT-2, GPT-3, GPT-3.5, GPT-4, etc.)
6. Gemini – Google AI Studio, Vertex AI
7. LLM parameters – temperature (creativity & randomness) etc.
8. What is JSX?
9. React vs Node
10. Projects – role, explanation, and tech stack
11. Difference in ReactJs & NodeJs

3rd Round – Technical + Problem Solving

Time : 1 Hour

This round was more system design + coding oriented.
Topics covered:

1. System Design – e-commerce platform (scaling, flow, fault tolerance, CAP theorem)
2. Database handling – scaling (vertical vs horizontal), partitioning, sharding, cold data/archives
3. Tech stack discussion
4. Cloud – S3 bucket policies, IAM usage
5. How to build an LLM ?
6. Authentication & authorization – differences
7. bcrypt & JWT
8. DSA problems:
   • Longest sequence of consecutive numbers
   • Remove duplicates from array
   • Implement stack using 2 queues
9. Design patterns - Singleton , Observer
10. Impact of AI in different sectors – your opinion
11. SQL queries
12. Relational vs Non-Relational Databases

4th Round – HR Interview

Time : 20 minutes

This round focused on personality, communication, and motivation.
Questions included:

1. Introduction and family background
2. Databases – SQL/NoSQL (optimization)
3. Where/how AI can be used in software development?
4. Project discussion
5. Hobbies
6. Why do you want to join NICE?
7. Do you have any idea about NICE products?
8. Any questions - I asked questions about their patents.

Shortlisting Stats:

• 51 students shortlisted from Online Assessment (OA)
• 25 cleared 1st Technical Round
• 15 cleared 2nd Technical Round
• 4 selected in the final HR Round (1 girl + 3 boys)
• I cleared technical rounds gave HR round but , unfortunately, I was not selected in the final list.

✅ Tips for Preparation

• Revise all topics you have mentioned in your Resume
• Brush up on system design basics.
• Practice DSA problems (arrays, stacks, queues)
• Be prepared to explain your projects in detail (role, tech stack, challenges)
• Read about AI/LLM trends and applications of AI in real-world sectors
• Prepare for HR questions (introduction, hobbies, why NICE systems? etc.)
